Drengestua Café

Enjoy your food in historic surroundings, in Drengestua at Aulestad. The cafeteria is operated by Matveveriet who take great pride in their food by using local commodities and exciting tastes.

On the menu you will find a variety of lunch dishes, freshly baked pastry, delicious cakes and locally burnt coffee. Enjoy our pancakes with blueberries, just the way Bjørnson preferred them.

You may have your food on the terrace where you can hear the birds sing and have an overview of the garden's beautiful flowers.

Opening hours

The café is open during the museum's opening hours in the summer season and Thursday–Sunday the rest of the year.
