Drengestua Café

Enjoy good, homemade food in historic surroundings at Drengestua, Aulestad. The café is run by Varde Sjokolade, who take pride in serving quality dishes made from scratch.

Our menu offers a variety of tasty lunch options, freshly baked pastries, and tempting cakes. Don’t miss our popular pancakes with blueberries – just the way Bjørnson liked them.

You can enjoy your meal on the terrace, surrounded by birdsong and the beautiful garden flowers.

Opening hours:
The café is open during the museum's opening hours throughout the summer season, and from Thursday to Sunday for the rest of the year.

Please note: The café is closed during weeks 14 and 15.
