Guided tour in the Bjørnson home

English tour at 1:30 pm

Every day during the summer season and weekends in September

Experience Bjørnson’s home on a guided tour exploring his life, family, literature and social engagement.

Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson lived at Aulestad with his wife Karoline for more than 25 years. Their home became a gathering place for family and friends, filled with art and gifts from near and far.

At Aulestad, time seems to stand still, allowing visitors to experience the house just as it was when the Bjørnson family lived there.
